Our School

St. Clare’s Convent School is a Christian Minority institution established and administered by the Seraphina Educational Society of the institute of the Franciscan Clarist Sisters of the Most Blessed Sacrament, founded by Mother Seraphina in 1898.

The School aims at the education of the Catholic Community around extend its services to members of other communities to the extent possible.

It conducts classes upto, Std. XII in accordance with the (10+2) Patten of the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.

St. Clare’s Convent School, Lucknow was established in the year 1998. It is run by Seraphina Society Dehradun. The main aim of the society is education of the youth, especially the poor and the most abandoned children. Since 1901, the society is actively engaged in the field of education in India.

The Educational Vision of the Society

  • The education of the young with a preferential option for the poor, the marginalized or the underprivileged in the slum/interior rural areas.
  • The care of the orphaned/destitute children.
  • The service of the poor especially in the remote regions. The Society considers schools as an effective agent in promoting the integral formation of the child in the Gospel Spirit of love and freedom-a love that excludes no one because of religion, region, nationality or race-in order to shape a better human society. Its educational service aims at forming students to be intellectually competent, morally sound, psychologically whole, spiritually responsible, growing in friendly and harmonious interpersonal relationship, imbued with a deep sense of noble values and concern for the less fortunate, and ever open to further growth.

The Society endeavors to create a school climate as the nucleus of a wider better society by:

  • Acknowledging God’s tender love as binding force of our pluralistic community and following the teachings of

Jesus Christ-the one Genuine Teacher.

  • Providing a healthy and morally sound life-style that liberates the child from the forces of evil in the cultural, economic, social and political order.

  • Rejecting counter values that threaten human dignity viz., violence, racial hatred, injustice, crime etc.
