Children Sports Festival’ observed under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

CHILDREN SPORTS FESTIVAL St. Clare’s Convent School has organized “Children Sports Festival “on 26th April, 2023 and 27th April, 2023. During this festival the school followed all the COVID protocols and used Infrared (IR) thermometers to measure temperature quickly. As most of the students had shown keen interest to participate in this event, the school provided opportunities of indoor games to the students from classes 3rd to 5th and of outdoor games from classes 6th to 8th.

  • 1. Carrom

  • Outdoor Games organized in the school:

  • 1. Basket Ball match – A basket ball match was held between 2 houses (St. Francis House and St. Clare’s House). The boys’ teams played very well and put their effort to win the match and St. Clare’s house won the match.
  • 2. Long jump – In long jump boys of class 7th to 8th had participated and enjoyed the game. 8 boys were there and out of these eight 3 had jumped very well and won 1st, 2nd and 3rd position.
  • 3. Kho-Kho match – In kho-kho, girls of classes 6th to 8th had participated and the female students made 2 teams according to the instructions of sports teacher and as per their choices. The girls fully enjoyed this event and the team in blue T-shirts won the match.
  • 4. Tug of war – The game was played by all the female and male students of classes 6th to 8th. It was a wonderful moment for the students as they put their full effort to win the match.
  • 5. Football – Football was played by the male students as per the instructions of sports teacher.
  • 6. Marathon – There was a marathon race held in the school, under the supervision of sports teachers by following complete COVID norms. Students of classes 6th to 8th had participated in this marathon.
  • 7. Badminton – Badminton was played by male students of class 7th and 8th.
Report of activities under the theme “Tribal Empowerment”

St. Clare’s Convent School, Lucknow organized various events under the theme Tribal Empowerment on 25th July 2023. Students from classes VI to XII participated in Poster making, Slogan Writing, Quiz, Essay Writing and Cultural activities etc. to observe the event. Some photographs of the activities are attached herewith.
